Oh if only it was every three months.

And the employee isn't specifically looking out for theft; they're also facing, working truck, etc. which is a fine deterrent. Criminals are not going to wipe out an entire row of items (or the razor blades or the formula) if someone is working in that aisle.

FWIW the front store (I work in the pharmacy) employees on duty at the time of the theft (in the middle of the freaking day) were the store manager (in the office doing aforementioned stupid paperwork), the assistant manager (in the back room) and one cashier (at the register ringing). Never stood a chance.
