Home automation update: Made more progress this weekend. Flashed my Sonoff Zbbridge with Tasmota and turned it into a Zigbee router. Also got my eufy

doorbell integrated into Home Assistant including livestreaming the camera.

Best accomplishment was rewiring our light switches near the front door and replacing the two three-ways with double pole decora switches and the middle one that controls our porch light with a regular smart switch. I had been dreading it for a while given my previous fiasco with our dimmers but it went exceptionally smooth.

Now I have automations that when there is motion on our Ring Camera or Eufy Doorbell OR the front door is opened (door sensor), the porch light turns on for 10 minutes.

Next up: I ordered some zigbee smart wall plugs to give my wife a single push button (also zigbee) to turn on all the lights (two wall plus ceiling fan light) in her room where she teaches music lessons. Also have set up the button that a long press will turn on the ceiling fan blades.

I also ordered some 433mhz radio modules for the Raspberry Pi I hope to mess around with in the future to see if I can get them to receive alerts from some Govee water sensors I have that only speak to the cloud.

I also figure out how to back up my Pi to OneDrive so I don't lose all this work :)
