Kia says the trade-in value of my Ford is less than $4K Canadian.

I guess I should use a variation of that value for weighing the cost of any maintenance/repairs it might need ... at that value, a scratch might result in a writeoff.

(A quick scan of the local market shows that the average price is about 10K Canadian)
