garbage last year after I was elected, and N will be moving up to middle school next year anyway, so this is my last year involved with the PTA. (It’ll feel weird, as I’ve been involved since he started kindergarten.)

I was asked by an acquaintance on the state PTA, as well as by the president-elect, if I’d be interested in applying for a board position with the state. I’m sure lots of people apply since it’s statewide, but I thought it was nice that I was directly asked by people in charge. Guess that means I’ve been doing something right here!
