Heh. There's the argument that hybrids and especially pure EV's don't pay their fair share if roads / highways / freeways are funded via gas taxes

Even if they paid an equal amount as what a gas car would pay, it wouldn't be their fair share due to the added weight causing road issues.

Same - unless the conflict is between cyclists and pedestrians, then it seems logical that pedestrians should be sided with. -- nm
