LYC Home Automation update: Installed a set of Zigbee (sengled) bulbs in my entryway fixtures to replace the Kasa bulbs I had

They are motion controlled using a Zigbee (Sonoff) motion sensor and the Kasa bulbs, while workable with the cloud and locally controlled with Home Assistant were acting a bit flaky. Sometimes one bulb would stick on and sometimes they would go completely offline.

Anyways, these sengled bulbs are seriously nice. Super sturdy, almost too heavy in the hand. Massively bright compared to the Kasa bulbs I took out. Had to turn them down to half brightness. That being said, they work and respond great (as all the zigbee stuff does).

I also installed on of my extra wifi door contacts on our "baby" gate leading to our basement. Going to put in a smart 3 way switch on that circuit and then control the bulb at the bottom of the stairs with it (as well as the fixture at the top)

Made a tremendous amount of notes on my next steps to automate the hallway lights. Ended up ordering a pre-flashed Tasmota (open source) light switch with motion sensor integrated and a couple more motion sensors. Hoping to utilize the Kasa bulbs in the hallway (maybe they will be more stable). If not, I can replace with the Sengled bulbs above.

I also may have found a Tasmota 3 way dimmer that I can utilize on a four way circuit without replacing multiple switches (link below). Open source firmware, no cloud needed.
