so that if he ever had to come live with us he could. Hopefully not something that will be necessary for several years to come since I know he wants to live on his own as long as possible.

The house was nice, but it was all electric, no gas. Once I realized that I pretty much completely lost interest. Gas water heater is so much more convenient and I'd like to have a gas fireplace (there was no fireplace) in case of power outages in the winter. Am I being insane?

- Yeah that can be a problem depending on the fireplace. I know in my old place as long as the pilot light was lit, you could get the fireplace going. - sycor Jan 30, 08:16 1
