2022 didn't really start out 'normal' but my spring/summer it was acting normal again.

Planes were still relatively empty and flights cheap early in the year. Many airlines were still blocking middle seats, at least early in the year.

Then everything went back to 'normal' and everyone started traveling like crazy by summer.
