I was once producing a weekly studio-based show and I had an intern, on her first day, ask me if we ever let an intern host the show.

I stared at her for 60 seconds trying to figure out if she actually thought we would allow her to host the show, or if she just wanted us to shoot a demo reel where she pretended to host the show.
Months later she later joined my crew and realized how stupid her request was.
