Aerodynamic to meet range and fuel efficiency standards.

ICE will have a tough time meeting efficiency standards if they don't emphasize aero.

EVs can move past relying on aero if battery capacity improves. Then cars can move toward more interesting shapes and styles. Tailfins, boxier front ends, etc.
