It would make sense if it was to be filmed immediately after season 2 finished filming.

Especially as a series finale. Wrap things up so fans aren't angry. No or lower startup costs. Something new for when the start of the season is strike delayed. Of course, most networks will probably just pull things from their streaming platforms, Canada or Europe.
