Guess what, kid? NOBODY knows 100% for sure exactly where they'll be or what they'll be doing or how they'll be feeling in a year from now.
Two years seems like plenty of time to join the bf's family for Thanksgiving. I mean, if you've been *invited*, there's really no need to wonder about the appropriateness of it.
Short answer: "am I over analyzing this too much?"
