great customer service at both. I once kited a check and called schwab and asked if they expedite a transfer to cover it and they looked at my history and were like "yeah sure."

znu will tell you that ally's interest rate is not the highest in the world. it's true. but customer service, stability and reliability are more important to me than is chasing every penny of interest. if I changed banks every time I could beat my interest rate, I'd do nothing but change banks.
