eight years. I said I have no idea how he would react.

When I picked him up yesterday, the vet tech who brought him out to me said "Pippin isn't a very good kennel kitty. He would attack when anyone would go near him and he ate some food but not much"

I was horrified that my cat was so impolite and I apologized several times. They told me it was okay but to expect him to be angry for quite some time.

Twenty minutes after we got home, he was curled up in my lap purring as loud as he ever has. All through yesterday last night and this morning, he would not get more than three feet away from me. I finally said "Dude, I have to go to work. I apologize for giving you feline PTSD"

But I guess Trish was right.
