I've heard more than one speculate that the streamers will let the Hollywood studios wither on the vine.

Big streamers - chiefly Netflix - can fill their catalogs with non-Hollywood produced content indefinitely. Then when the studios and the WGA have beaten each other down, Netflix will come in and make a deal that suits only them.
