put a towel in the bag, that will take care of freezing solid....does making a topical cream make the effect like timed release?

mom isn't digging the CBD nor the THC blends from edible gummies.
they work great to knock her out but its short lived and as soon as she has to get up to pee its gone....
she tried taking a small piece and again when she gets up. that kinda helps
