That's true. But a lot pops (not all) are much closer to beanie babies than not in the volume they are produced.

Are their rare ones? Absolutely. But I also think people paying $1,000 for a pop are nuts. I have one on my list that I really want, but it sells for $150-ish and I just cannot justify it. But I know there a lot of people out there that can justify it.
