slightly less crazy than booking 50 nights at the nearby Hyatt Regency to get globalist status. Yes, I have a spreadsheet that covers this -- (edited)

50 nights
3500 points per night

175000 points needed
52000 point earned (through their current promotion)
Net 122500 points

Sadly I am slightly short of the 122,500 Chase points (not by all that much actually) to book this and I don't live close enough to the deerfield hyatt to actually perform the check ins

But get a year of Globalist for 122k Chase points could potentially be worth it. We were easily getting $200 in value per night stayed in Chicago between free breakfast and valet parking. Granted, the Chase points are probably worth closer to $1225 dollars but that's...7 nights worth of value not including how much you value the actual suite upgrades.
