This season let the riffs breathe more, a big change from Netflix.

Demon Squad was one of my favorite episodes, besides the return of Joel, the filmmakers tried but could only do so much with their budget. A Smash Mouth concert in a Spirit Halloween store was a very appropriate description. The director and the lead actress in the movie (a married couple) were on the post-premiere livestream and were very gracious about it. I think they're trying to Kickstart a sequel.
Joel oversold the terribleness of the other movie he did. The Bubble was bad, but not Manos-like.
