Granted I'm washing for one and on a weekly basis so there's like 20% white/light and the rest darks. So I sort into 2-3 piles on the floor of my room so nothing in the one basket that has collected clothes over the week, use the same one basket to get clothes and fold those as soon as drier finishes. Keep getting clothes from drier and fold until wash is complete
