My Last of Us question about last night. Spoilers.

What exactly was it about her that convinced him she could be a leader of the group? Or are we to think that was all smoke because he really was just attracted to her?

He doesn’t know her name, hasn’t seen her in person, sees that she shot a deer and immediately thinks ‘She can lead alongside me’?

I mean, it turns out he was right because she’s a beast, but it was quite a leap to risk alienating his friends to chance it all on a girl he doesn’t know.

Seemed weird.

Also the fact that he was going to rape her while the building around him was on fire.
