In response to "12 waiting and 8 charging. My grocery store parking lot has a Tesla problem that is only getting worse. -- nm" by Qale

Tesla plans to double the number of Superchargers in the US.There are currently 50+ Superchargers stalls in

Houston. I don't know the names of suburbs so there may be more that are around Houston and that doesn't include destination chargers. And it doesn't include other charging options, though those are often slower and more expensive than Superchargers and have fewer stalls per location.

If the cars mostly charging are X and S they may have the old free lifetime supercharger access that isn't offered any longer.

It seems very unlikely that these are long distance travellers. So either they can't charge at home or are choosing not to.

I'm guessing these are commuters getting off work and this is the closest charging to their home.

Hopefully expansion will improve access and reduce wait times. Free Supercharging isn't an option any longer and Tesla can change pricing to encourage people to charge off-peak.
