that’s not what they are doing. it’s a telehealth business that has doctors who can prescribe the top 3 weight loss injectables*. (see link.)

they’re meant to be complementary to eating healthily + calorie deficit when that’s applicable, being as active as possible, etc. WW has a lot of members who are diabetic or pre- and/or have other current or possible health issues that are why they’ve joined; and those folks are who the drugs are actually meant for, so there’s synergy.
(*they have doctors who do more than that, too.)
