etc. become embarrassed to be associated with that. It can also energize left voters. I think he's focusing on the wrong issue. Yes, you'll never change those voters' minds (at least until you can get them to live outside the bubble), but that generally isn't where elections are won or lost. And I think it's sort of sad to watch him attack Stewart for making the point in really clear, understandable ways that probably helps clarify the issues (and arguments) for other liberals in their daily life. I don't really know what he's suggesting the "right" approach is.
