I think Cameron knew this film was a turd. He supported his Ex in the press, but the film made $7,959,291 on a budget of $42,000,000.

At the same time, the 1994 film "Radioland Murders." which made $1,316,865 US on an undisclosed budget. It was produced by some guy named George Lucas. I told him I liked the film (which I did).
