In response to "There's nothing normal about nine pounds in 13 days. If it were, this wouldn't be a story. -- nm" by Halo Thoughts

you think he put on 9 lbs of FAT in 13 days? that's ridiculous.

he's an athlete, he's burning calories at an incredible rate due to muscle mass plus training. if he weighted in in the morning, maybe a little dehydrated, he could easily be 10 to 15 lbs lighter than his "normal" weight.

everyone fluctuates 5 or so lbs during the day, maybe more depending on diet (see: athlete).

in high school, my wrestler friends would weigh in for meets dehydrated and starved to drop into a different weight class, then they'd be 10 lbs heavier by the time they wrestled a week later. don't you think he weighed in at his lightest, maybe even did a little work to make sure the number looked good?

i don't know why 9 lbs is even a number being thrown around. he plays the game with 15 lbs of equipment on. he had a bad performance, maybe he has an injury, who knows, but 9 lbs difference is not a reasonable thing to be fixated on.
