Physics help please

a tennis ball is dropped from a height 0f 1.20 m above the ground.
It rebounds to a height of 1.00m above the ground.

a) with what velocity does it hit the ground?

b) with what velocity does it leave the ground?
(is it a formula?)

c) if the ball is in contact with the ground for 0.010 s, find its acceleration while in contact.

- for a) I went mgh = 1/2 mv^2. m is mass, g is gravity, h is height. plug height in for both 1.0 and 1.2, set equations equal, solve for v. - mafic Mar 16, 17:47
