there's a simplified alternative here. 67 cents/hour. actual expense method is a real pain.

they want detailed logs of like how many people were in the house on a given day, which would translate to formulas for how much (for example) heat/electricity/internet they were using. though on pretty much all my WFH days I'm alone, so it probs wouldn't be too bad.

which reminds me, I need to update my WFH spreadsheet.
