If I remember right, that was the lead single off Load so it kinda makes sense… get that massive anticipation push and then by the time the change in style hits, the other stuff lagged …
I’m surprised but not really that the Black Album songs didn’t do much better. GnR was huge at the same time so it wasn’t like hard rock wasn’t getting chart play.
