My 98 year old great Aunt Gertie passed away this morning.

She had advanced Alzheimer's for a number of years now and hasn't known who people are for a long time. It reportedly was a peaceful passing.
Prior to getting ill though, I have the fondest of memories of her. What a lively and loving spirit she had!
I will remember her fondly and celebrate her today.

98 is a nice long life, and it doesn't sound like she suffered, which is what really matters. My condolences. -- nm
