Unless you’re suggesting he should have kicked off a crisis of confidence in the banking system by not raising rates as an indicator that the situation was more dire than anyone is admitting?

we obviously needed to raise rates as a refresh of the Feds toolbox but it’s been clear for some time that they’re not having the intended effect -- nm* - hollywood big shot Mar 22, 11:21 2
