That's what I'm wondering. How many other social media or big tech companies (esp. Facebook and Twitter) are doing exactly what TikTok does?

I haven't really paid attention and know little details, but is TikTok doing anything that we haven't seen from other tech companies over the past 20 years?

Or is this just a case of performative outrage where the only difference is the Chinese government versus the U.S. government?
