The Night Agent has a metacritic rating of 69% ... so I wondered how it would stack up against The Terminal List.

40%.

I didn't like the Terminal List episode(s) I saw, and it seems the critics agreed with me. It has an 8.5 audience rating, though (night agent is TBD, but I bet it will be higher).
