maybe...I had a pine tree (a former xmas tree in a bucket transfered to a whiskey barrel) topple over, we propped it up....

I thought it would die... or grow with a curve as it straighted up...
what it did was continue to grow at a 45' and each branch turned into a trunk upwards...it was OK for a wall of pine.
but the neighbor worried it was starting to grow over her house and would one day fall on it.
so I had to cut all but the lowest branch which is now the trunk and have this odd shaped tree
