Half of the country refuses to even discuss the issue. Not sure how much worse it has to get before something is done. -- (edited)

But as we've heard many times, if they did nothing after Sandy Hook they're never going to do anything.
I recently read we have well over 300 million guns. We let things get out of hand a long time ago and I just don't see how we go back from where we are today.
