Thanks for the link, that's one of the best (and shortest) definitions of plot I've seen.

My only problem with it is the word "logical". I think that was the beauty of Dark Knight, there was no logic in the plot and that caused people to feel somewhat off kilter after viewing. Everyting the joker did was so random, the other characters and the audience weren't able to intuitively understand the past and present events and make a logical extrapolation of future events.
Or as Twug quoting Alfred said, "some men just want to see the world burn."
