First escape was with the spear and the handy Stubborn Roots boon (slow self-heal when out of Death's Defiance).
Second escape was with the shield. I do adore the shield. You don't need to run around so much when you can just block then bull rush.
I had Demeter's Crystal Beam cast upgrade both times. I do love that boon for the passive damage.
Still, [Redacted] has more than once pimp-slapped me into the next realm. Last run with a the bow was an utter disaster. Lost full health bar and all four Death's Defiance and didn't even reach Phase 2.
