she posted something that looked kind of racist, then when called on it, insisted she was definitely not racist and her post was fine.

maybe she's not super racist, but she definitely has showed very poor judgement and insensitivity to people she supposedly cares about by doubling down and acting very fragile.
it was about her being criticized for glorifying violence against women in her songs, so she responded by listing off a number of Black women who have done the same thing, in her opinion.
it's kind of stupid and messy, but her handling of it just dug her deeper and deeper into a pit.
there is also a lot of stuff about her being pretty anti-feminist for a while, then suddenly saying she's totally a feminist.
and wearing a mesh mask during the pandemic.
it all just adds up to someone who isn't really evil, but is kind of a terrible person you don't really want to pay attention to.
