Wrong.

Apparently I need to upgrade my old card and install an app and other such bullshit.

This new program also does the annoying "you only get marked pricing discounts, such as '2 for $X.XX' if you use the card" thing, whereas previously if something was marked as on sale for '2 for $X.XX', the pricing either applied to 1x or had graduated quantity discounts clearly marked - and did not require a special card. I know it's de rigueur these days, but it's still bullshit that fucks the consumer & I'd like to see it banned.
