I've used the convection option for my toaster oven and it does okay but the crust doesn't get back to that good crispiness. -- (edited)

Could be I didn't set the temperature right and it was my fault. In my experience the cheese was done before the crust was good and crispy.
But I have used the frying pan method and it's my favorite way to reheat pizza. I wish I knew about it decades ago!
