So getting my prescription filled yesterday was an ordeal (due to issues caused by the urgent care). The CVS pharmacy folks were great.

I was actually very impressed with them.

The person at the counter that helped me the first time (yes I was there repeatedly) said they didn't have any Rx in the system for me and checked multiple systems. She told me they have problems with the urgent cares sending through electronic Rx sometimes so to ask them to call it in.

I called the urgent care and asked them to call it in after CVS pharmacy reopened from lunch. Not too long after I receive a text from CVS that my Rx is processing. GREAT!

And then I get a voicemail from the pharmacist herself at CVS. Good, detailed message explaining everything, but the bottom line is: Level 1 contraindication, she can't fill it. She called the urgent care and the provider left for the day. She suggests I may want to call the urgent care as well, but she can't fill this and needs the doctor to contact her.

After multiple calls to the urgent care (including them seeming very *annoyed* with *ME* for expecting them to have the provider fix this after he left for the day), I get another call personally from the pharmacist. The doctor finally called her and changed the Rx. She walked me through the side effects of this one, and said she'd have it done for me in two minutes.

The urgent care gets a thumbs down, this CVS pharmacy gets a thumbs up.
