Hardly. Destination charging is far more important than en-route charging. The number of people who drive more than 250 miles a day is miniscule

relative to those that could, if ample charging at locations where they spend 2+ hours a day existed.

You are right but also wrong. Until charging stations are as ubiquitous as gas stations EV adoption will be very slow to happen -- (edited)
