It's hard to see the road to 1M even for me with a large savings already in the bank. But money earning money is very difficult to envision

until you see it actually happen. I know in my logical brain that the money I've saved will ultimately get me there but it still feels like I should have to deposit the total shortfall in the next 15 years but that's not how it works
