If it wasn't for our open office I'd never know anything. It's gotten to the point where I'll ask "why wasn't I told about xxxx?" with the response

Right, but I've developed the valuable habit of tuning out the noise and unless you address me directly by name, or preferably send it to me in an email, I didn't hear it and don't know anything!!
