We have a good amount of seed funding, but all of those funds have been budgeted. We were counting on these funds coming through from a major donor, but we've been overcome by events.

It's not a huge deal, merely a short-term setback. Our medium and long-range plans haven't changed, and we're still going to be able to have our Grand Opening in early September. We'll just need to do more fundraising now instead of later, and postpone our trip by 4-6 weeks.

But it's still a bit disappointing. I'm tremendously jazzed about this project.

Our website is still scheduled to go live on Monday, so I'll still plan to start hitting y'all up for donations then. :-) :-)
