Side note: I got confirmation from ComEd that by using Hourly Pricing and Solar production, if the hourly price goes negative I'm getting charged to

supply electricity

Not sure how I feel about that. Overall the Hourly pricing has been a net positive (saving money) even with the Christmas fiasco. I suspect that negative pricing is pretty rare (likely spring/fall in those short term very nice periods like we have now where temp is warm but not enough for AC). I'm tempted now to download the historical hourly pricing data and see if it goes negative frequently during the day to see if it really is a concern
