I should write a reivew of potter, but here are my thoughts (spoilers), I give the movie a C+/B-

the first half of the movie, I could take, it was ok, and I saw where they were going with the story.
I'm not sure I understand the destruction of the weasley home, unless they are substituting that now for deaths later, but even then it was almost a throw away moment, nothing else happened with it.
I'm not sure why they even bothered with the malfoy subplot, other than to show him as being tortured by it. they shouldnt have even bothered to bring in a group of death eaters if there was no battle. it was a throw away and useless for the rest of the plot really.
I think that is my problem with the movie really, it seemed a lot of their "plot" had no real substance, it was just there and forgotten.
the weasley home is gone, but other than 30secs of grieving, nothing.
the school is broken into to, but nothing other than shots of destruction.
maybe they will go into that in 7.1 and 7.2 but I just dont see why they even bothered.
