sent me an email yesterday that the condo had been double booked and they wanted permission to move me to a comparable condo. I received another email from them, which I now realize came before the one asking for my permission, confirming my move to the other condo and reminding me if I canceled I owe 50% of the total plus resort fees, with a total that is almost double what my expedia confirmation says. I had seen the photos of the new location on other websites when I was looking for a place to stay. They don't look anything alike. Like the difference between a model home and the construction manager's on-site trailer. Looking at the other condos, grounds and building configuration, I don't believe the condo I booked exists. I contacted expedia and they said they contacted the company abd spoke to the CEO and I would be contacted later today, as it was 5:30 am. I told them it seemed suspicious they were talking to the CEO, and if he was working why couldn't someone else there contact me now? Expedia ended my chat. I paid with PayPal which goes to my credit card. Should I contact my card company and try and get them to stop it? I don't know if they can since it's pp. Coincidentally, since I booked, I am getting bombarded with phishing scams straight to my inbox. What should I do?
