I went in Dec 2019 to help my youngest pack after a semester abroad. He was in Leiden. We did Amsterdam for a couple days and a few days in Paris.

Other than the fact that every day was overcast and grey - Leiden is amazing.
Some sunshine wouldn't hurt though. lol
