I was tasked with replacing laptops after the unit previously responsible for this process... didn't. I'm notoriously... uh... detail oriented and often get tasked things that others have allowed to fall through the cracks. After doing my thing (interviews, research, and spreadsheets... SO MANY SPREADSHEETS!), I submitted a P.O. for laptops and someone at the highest levels was, like, "What's all this? For who? Why this model? When? How much?" I got 70% off Dell's list price for laptops that were announced 3 weeks ago and could be delivered THIS WEEK.

I calmly and methodically showed my work. P.O. approved.
